I am an analytics consultant and a data enthusiast.  I developed my passion for statistics while attending the University of Chicago where I studied Psychology and Computational Neuroscience.  Through those fields I was introduced to predictive analytics and the joy of coding in Matlab.  After college I remained in research and academia for a few years before venturing into the business world.  I started out at Mattersight Corporation, where I was leading a team of data scientists in creating models to predict customer behaviors based on call center data, and I am currently a consultant at Slalom Chicago.
